Get Curator on your phone
Curator runs in your phone's web browser, so there is nothing to download from an app store. Put it on your home screen once and it opens like any other app: full screen, with its own icon, straight to your choirs.
iPhone and iPad
These steps use Safari's own buttons, not anything on the Curator page.
- Open curatormusic.app in Safari and sign in.
- Tap the button at the left end of Safari's address bar. It shows short lines, sometimes with a small puzzle piece above them.
- In the menu that opens, tap Share.
- The share panel opens halfway up the screen. In its row of round buttons, tap View More at the end.
- Tap Add to Home Screen.
- If you see Open as Web App, leave it on. Tap Add. Curator now has its own icon on your home screen.
On an older iPhone, Share (a square with an arrow pointing up) is in the toolbar at the bottom of Safari. Tap it, then scroll down to Add to Home Screen.
Chrome on iPhone: tap the Share icon at the right end of the address bar, then View More, then Add to Home Screen. Chrome never offers to install Curator by itself on iPhone, so these steps are the way. If Add to Home Screen isn't in the list, open curatormusic.app in Safari instead.
Android
- Open curatormusic.app in Chrome and sign in.
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen, then Install.
Chrome sometimes offers Install by itself at the bottom of the screen, which does the same thing. In Samsung Internet, open the menu and choose Add page to, then Home screen.
Computer
In Chrome or Edge, open curatormusic.app and select the install icon at the right end of the address bar, a small screen with an arrow. Curator then opens in its own window, and you can pin it to your taskbar or dock.
In Safari on a Mac, choose File, then Add to Dock.
Good to know
- You only do this once. From then on, tap the Curator icon instead of opening the browser.
- You stay signed in, just as you were in the browser.
- If something looks out of date after an update, close Curator completely and open it again.
